Woodside beef burgers hit the shops

At a time of year when many people’s thoughts are turning to turkey, local farmer Charlie Gallichan is about to launch a range of Genuine Jersey beef burgers. Made from 100 per cent local beef, the new Woodside Burgers will be available in Co-op stores from this week and the public are invited to join two tasting sessions to put the flavours to the test.

New farm shop is Classic by nature

JERSEY shoppers can now buy fresh produce, dairy goods, meat and flowers from a new site out of town. Classic Farm shop at Manor Farm, St Peter, opens on 11th November selling a range of produce which promises to be mostly local.

Get set for a Genuine Jersey Christmas

Top of the crops – Menu de Terroir winners

THE Olive Branch in Colomberie and the Garden Restaurant at Jersey Pottery are the winners of the Menu de Terroir 2006, which is organised by the Genuine Jersey Products Association in association with Victor Hugo Wines and Laurent-Perrier Champagne. The accolade of overall winner is awarded to the Garden Restaurant.
