One of the Genuine Jersey Products Association’s (GJPA) founding members, Jersey Pottery, has secured a prestigious deal with the Waitrose supermarket chain to produce over 1,000 Jersey Royal Bowls.

Alan Mason of Portinfer Farm Tearooms, which belongs to the Genuine Jersey Products Association (GJPA), has been invited to appear as Chef of the Day on one of BBC Southern Counties Radio’s most popular slots.

Jersey’s prestigious Atlantic Hotel has become the first hotel in the Island to become part of the successful Genuine Jersey Products Association (GJPA). The hotel plans to use its membership to expand the range of local produce on offer at its newly opened Ocean restaurant – which is expected to become one of the Channel Island’s finest dining experiences.

Daniel De Carteret has taken over as winemaker and distiller at Jersey’s La Mare Vineyards, one of the founder members of the Genuine Jersey Products Association (GJPA).The former Victoria College pupil, who has worked at some of the most respected vineyards and wineries in New Zealand and Australia, has ambitious plans for the Island’s flourishing winery which is gaining recognition as an exciting new prospect in the wine trade.
