The Le Boutillier family have been farming at Woodlands Farm for generations. They are one of the few remaining mixed Dairy and Potato farms in the Island, still growing their Jersey Royal New Potatoes in soil fertilised by the herd.

From April to August their farm shop ‘The Potato Shack’ is open, selling some of the very best homegrown and homemade produce around, amid other great Jersey produce like Three Oaks Vinery Tomatoes and Lesley Garton's Chutneys and Cordials.

Jersey Royals are at their best when they are freshly dug and the Woodlands Royals at the Shack are dug fresh every single morning during the season! Almost as good are their Strawberries and Raspberries grown outdoors on the farm; no sprays or chemical fertilisers here!

In August and September, you can pick your own raspberries from the canes, under the watchful eye of the 200-strong dairy herd in the field next to you. Meanwhile mum Nicki, turns all the leftovers into homemade Jam bursting with the flavour of summer.

When they can be had, The Shack is also famous for it's Completely Free Range Eggs; laid on the farm by chickens free to roam wherever they like; they could even leave the farm if they chose but the fact they haven't lost one yet... shows how happy they are at home!
