Hand-made Jersey Fudge She supplies a number of outlets on a weekly basis and in a relatively short time has built up a loyal following amongst locals and visitors alike.
Her fudge is made from Jersey butter, Jersey milk and/or Jersey cream (according to flavour), sugar, condensed milk and natural flavourings. She uses a closely guarded secret recipe that was passed on to her many years ago and which has been “tweaked” and experimented with ever since to obtain just the right combination of rich wholesome buttery taste together with a texture that has both lightness and bite! Favourite selling flavours include Vanilla, Chocolate, Maple & Walnut, Coffee & Cream, Baileys & Cream, Chocolate & Ginger, and at Christmas time her Christmas Pudding fudge has become quite a legend! The fudge is cooked to a very high temperature of 240° and due to its high sugar content has a long shelf life (fudge should never be stored in the refrigerator as the resulting condensation due to sudden change of temperature will destroy its long life). Sue’s Fudge is packaged in bags and gift boxes each with attractive ribbon bows and in various in sizes, from 100grams to 300grams. Her latest addition is Wedding Favour boxes – beautiful little boxes filled with fudge and exclusively decorated by hand with organza ribbons and paper flowers to coordinate with the bride and bride-grooms own wedding theme. In fact these little boxes make a fitting thank you gift for all occasions, both private and corporate. |
