Jersey Royal Potato Shack

The Jersey Royal Potato Shack’ is not an average farm shop. Open from 1st April through to September, we specialise in Jersey Royal potatoes sorted by size into ‘Chats’, ‘Mids’, ‘Ware’ and ‘Toppers’, and the favourite, washed ‘Chats’ and ‘Mids’ ready for the pan complete with a sprig of mint. Late season one can buy washed ‘Baby Set Skinned Royals’ perfect for the barbecue and complete with garlic and rosemary.

What makes our potatoes a little different however is that they are grown in an old fashioned rotation with our herd of Jersey cows which are regularly seen adjacent to ‘The Shack’ and are a favourite with everyone.

To compliment our potatoes we also sell a selection of choice quality Jersey products such as Vienna Bakery bread, Fauvic Nurseries vine ripened tomatoes, as well as our own free range eggs, unsprayed strawberries, sunflowers and new for 2005, farm grown raspberries, asparagus, rhubarb and artichokes .
