Jersey Pottery

The Jersey Pottery was established in 1946 and has become one of the Island’s premier tourist attractions. Visitors can experience the fascinating world of pottery production from start to finish. Watch each item being moulded by hand from raw materials and transformed into an exquisite piece of Genuine Jersey hand made pottery.

An astonishing number of hands touch each piece of pottery before it reaches the showroom. Most Jersey Pottery is hand-made and hand-painted and in the factory you see the amazing journey each piece takes to make. When you learn the kilns are fired up to 1250 Celcius you can appreciate why Jersey Pottery can go from freezer to oven or microwave to table, and then straight in the dishwasher. 

From understanding how the pottery is created you can see all the finished items on display in our beautifully presented showroom. Relaxed and inviting, you will be amazed by the variety of ranges on offer – imagine them in your own home or as a perfect gift.
