Local grower Trevor Le Brun has been involved in farming all his life. He took over the running of Homefield Growers from his father. For the past five years the business has concentrated solely on the local market, supplying Island shops, restaurants and hotels. The farm grows 70 different crops – the largest range grown by any farmer in Jersey . Crops include a comprehensive salad range, root vegetables, peppers, chilies and tomatoes. All are either grown in poly tunnels, outside or in glasshouses.

The farm was one of the first pioneers of farm shops in Jersey launching a retail outlet 15 years ago. Since then this part of the business has grown enormously and attracted numerous clients in the hotel and catering industry keen to offer visitors home-grown produce.
