From an early age, Tim has had a passion for the natural world which later developed into the understanding that our fragile environment is in desperate need of protection from the threats and pressures imposed upon it. His working career has been spent in the conservation of species and habitats in Europe, Africa, Mauritius, Madagascar and New Zeland. Since 1996, he has been a Countryside Officer for the States of Jersey, helping to safeguard our unique flora and fauna though management and education. In his spare time Tim enjoys surfing, rock climbing and spending time with his wife Charlotte and daughter Rhiann. His drawings have been produced to reflect some of the more unusual species that may be seen in Jersey. |
