This beautiful house, dating in part to Norman times, is surrounded by exceptional gardens which include an internationally renowned herb garden, Japanese garden, exotic planting and water gardens. There is a plant trail, children's activities and talks on herbs and their uses. The Rural Life and Carriage Museum and the Manor House are both open to the public by guided tour.

We can arrange corporate lunches, catering for private parties as well as more specialised catering such as a wedding.  Our team of staff have a strong and varied history in the hospitality sector which guarantees our clients the highest standards in all aspects of their events.


Ken Snarey is the owner and the executive Head Chef, with years of experience and has catered for individual Private Functions from Dinner Parties to Corporate Parties.  Ken is very passionate about food and using local produce when available. In 2006 Ken achieved a Highly Commended award from the City & Guilds of London Institute, This is a National award only given to students who achieve very high standards in the Hospitality & Catering industry.
